Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx LTR is just around the corner and I’ve decided to participate in beta testing again. It is not recommended to install this first beta on production machines, but it’s too late for me now.  Here’s what I had to go through in the past day or so with my little Acer Aspire One and Ubuntu NBR installed on it.

Per numerous requests I’m posting a copy of all the adoption forms as well as instructions on how to fill them out. I got these from the 3rd District Court in Salt Lake City. Yours might be a little different, but at least it’ll give you an idea.

Utah is probably the best place to apply for stepparent adoption. The state has recently passed a bill that will give a non-biological parent the opportunity to convince a judge that they have an important role in the child’s life and that to sever the relationship could be harmful to the child. Currently, each state has slightly different adoption laws, though many do allow for stepparent adoption.

The adoption process in Utah is fairly simple, all I had to do is just follow instructions included in Adoption Packet provided by the court. Here’s a quick summary.

Due to the advances in mobile technology, nowadays almost all the mobile phones are equipped with Internet surfing capabilities. From now on whenever a someone visits my blog from a mobile browser, he/she will be presented with a  mobile version of the site, which has a cleaner and lighter user interface that is designed specifically for mobile devices.  It also automatically re-sizes  images to reduce traffic. Please report any bugs to me as you find them.
