It’s Complicated

No crap it’s complicated! I would recommend this movie as marriage therapy to newlyweds as well as fresh divorcées. It promotes spouse-cheating and pot-smoking. As much as I like Alec Baldwin with his fearless haircut, this movie is probably his worst creation so far. I’m extremely disappointed with the ‘happy ending’!

It’s elementary, my dear Watson!

My antipathy for British accent started with Margaret Ashford – one of my very first managers in the restaurant business industry. Her infamous “Are you stewpid?..” still wakes me up at night sometimes. Sherlock Holmes, on the other hand, is among my most favorite book characters. I was, however, compelled to watch this 2009 Sherlock Holmes movie twice with subtitles in order to completely understand it.

I unquestionably adore Robert Downey’s ironic manner of presenting the character. He’s handsome and funny, sexy and yet filthy at the same time.

Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI)

Avatar is a computer user’s representation of himself/herself or alter ego, used for video games, internet forums and chat rooms. This definition has nothing to do with the movie we saw last weekend though.

So this is is the movie everyone has been talking about. “One of the best movies”, “3D a must see”, “WOW” and so we’ve decided to check it for ourselves almost a month after the official release. At first I was thinking about simply downloading it and watching on our 42″ screen, but the 3-Dimensional temptation has won over and we had to find a babysitter for our 4-year old.

He’s Just Not That Into You

A quick movie review.

Awesome crew of all very famous actors made this great film possible for all of those who are single people out there and for those who are not. Some very creative ideas and relationship concepts developed throughout the movie that I personally found quite interesting. Rules of the genre however demanded for a cheesy happy ending, but I really liked the story overall.
