My name is Mikhail Ryumshin (a.k.a Misha) and the original website name was Misha’s Dugout, because it suppose to reflect my thoughts that I would dig out of my brain, but it has grown since then and now contains numerous school-related articles and information about me. I’m originally from Moscow, Russia, but I live in the United States now.

Because it’s required by the school I have to talk a little bit about my career here. So my career goals for the nearest future include graduating from college, hopefully with Computer Information Systems degree, and getting a Information Security related job at a large national company. As none of you have probably noticed I purchased a domain name for my website about a month ago. This was a very exciting event because I’ve never actually owned a domain before. I did, however, run into a certain issues with my free dynamic domain name service, that I had to figure out on my own.

So let’s say after using your WordPress blog for a while you’ve decided to change your permalink structure to something more readable than the default ?p=123. There are loads of articles on the Internet suggesting to install Permalinks Migration plug-in. However, I’ve seen plenty of people complaining about this plug-in not working correctly and generating HTTP 404 Error Message.
