With record high sales of over $400,000,000,000 in the year of 2009 and almost 8,000 stores worldwide, Walmart Stores Inc is among the largest retailers on the planet right now. Recently they’ve specifically targeted China as one of their potentially very profitable future markets; as of last year, there were almost 250 Walmart stores there and the numbers are growing rapidly. Being well known for its unfair corporate employment practices and its effect on the larger economy and community here in the United States, it is very questionable that China will benefit in any way from such an invasion.
